FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

The first step towards fire safety is a fire detection system. Once a fire is detected, the next step is to extinguish it with effective fire suppression and sprinkler systems.

Fire Extinguishing systems are a fundamental part of any security and risk mitigation plan in companies, hence the importance of having the ideal design adapted to the risks present in your facilities and guaranteeing timely maintenance, which allows the optimum performance of your system.

The effectiveness of a fire extinguishing system depends entirely on a good design, so these systems must be designed and installed by a qualified specialist in the field, who will carry out a risk analysis, taking into account all the necessary considerations to ensure proper operation. Incisan Fire has more than 60 years of experience in the fire protection industry, our team allows us to offer design, installation, preventive maintenance.

The last generation fire suppression and sprinkler systems protect your property throughout its life cycle, we have a wealth of experience and expertise in fire suppression, sprinkler systems and suppression agents, both standard and custom. Whatever the specifications of your company, we guarantee a reliable and effective solution that fits your needs.

Our lifecycle approach ensures that your solution is functional and optimized throughout its lifecycle. Custom planning, high-quality installations and regular maintenance provide the optimal solution for your property's fire suppression and sprinkler systems.

WATER EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

Fire sprinklers

Automatic fire sprinklers, known as sprinklers, are one of the oldest systems for fire protection in all types of buildings. Sprinklers have the objective of automatic fire control once it originates, preventing it from spreading, they are even designed for the total extinction of the same.

The sprinklers have been designed according to the type of system in which they will be used, these systems are "Wet Systems" and "Dry Systems".

Manual extinguishing with or without its own drive

Fire extinguishing systems by manual means are those that need the human factor for their total operation from the beginning to the end of the fire extinction or its control. Usually this type of system is used for small outbreaks or fires that are supposed to be controllable by means of this type of manual extinguishing system.

Fire Hose Systems

A hose is a flexible hollow tube designed to transport fluids from one place to another. A fire hose is used by firefighters to put out fires with water.

Fire monitors

The monitors with their nozzles are equipment for fixed or portable systems, designed for remote fire fighting, protecting the life of the firefighter in action. This type of equipment can be used in water-based and foam-based extinguishing systems.

HYDRANT SYSTEMS

The external networks of hydrants are elements intended both to supply the Firefighters and for the self-protection of the company. They are designed outdoors, close to the facades, and are basically used for cooling the structures of the buildings, preventing them from collapsing, or even cooling adjoining buildings, thus preventing the fire from causing a chain reaction. They can also be used to control and extinguish fires in outdoor storage.

CLEAN AGENTS EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

Clean Agent: Fire extinguishing element, electrically non-conductive, in the form of gas or vapor, volatile, which leaves no residue after evaporation.

- High pressure Co2 systems
- Low pressure Co2 systems
- FM-200 systems
- Argonite
- Sprayed Water Systems
- Ecaro 25
- Novec
Risks and protected equipment:

  • Flammable liquids.
  • Transformer and motor rooms.
  • Computer room, electronics and associated equipment.
  • Ship and marine systems.

FM 200 system

How the FM200 works

In the event of a fire, this gas moves through pipes reaching the nozzles where it is discharged in a gaseous state. Being a gas it invades all space. The download is done in a maximum time of 10 seconds (depending on the technical design characteristics). At that time the fire will have been put out. What this gas does is break the chain reaction of the fire, mainly cooling the oxygen and reducing the oxygen, putting out the fires immediately.

Advantages of the FM 200:

The great advantages of this gas are its rapid action against fires. Being a gas, it does not damage existing materials (it does not damage computers, documentation, or electrical or electronic equipment). It is a non-toxic gas, so it can be used in human presence without problems.

It is stored in a liquid state in pressurized cylinders, at the moment of a discharge it travels through a specially designed piping system, reaching a discharge nozzle, where it is spread already in a gaseous state, the amount of FM-200 that is released Each nozzle must be carefully calculated through flow engineering to ensure effectiveness and appropriate concentration levels.

The FM-200 protection system is designed to penetrate uniformly at any point in the protected area, easily reaching any place that other types of systems could not reach.

The fact that FM-200 is stored in a liquid state allows substantial space savings, which normally also have a significant cost, in addition to the fact that in most cases a concentration of less than 7% is required to effectively extinguish a fire event.

Where it is recommended to use the FM 200 extinguishing agent:

In any place where the value of the facilities, equipment, documentation, is important. In addition, since it does not damage equipment and is not toxic in the event of a fire, work can be resumed almost immediately after its extinction.

Novec

What are the advantages of using NOVEC?

Leaves no residue to clean up, leaving systems to continue running. It has an atmospheric life of 5 days and does not damage the ozone layer. It has the widest margin of safety, due to its low toxicity and combined with high extinguishing efficiency.

The only extinguishing agent that can be sent by air transport and in turn recharged on-site, since at room temperature it behaves like a liquid. Pourable liquid, low in viscosity and easy to handle. Harmless to the environment and people.

It is a fluorinated ketone that does not harm the environment. Its operation is based on extinguishing the fire by absorbing the heat energy of the flames, reducing the production of flammable gases. It is a colorless and odorless agent that is generally used in situations where fire extinguishing water damages electronic equipment in areas such as: museums, banks, hospitals, etc.

FOAM-BASED FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

Foam systems are the great ally for extinguishing fires involving combustible and flammable liquids. Due to its properties, it is the extinguishing agent par excellence in potentially dangerous areas, or in areas where flammable liquids are transported, processed, stored or used as a source of energy. A stable aqueous foam can extinguish fire in a combustible or flammable liquid, combining mechanisms such as: cooling, separation between the source of fire or ignition.
